Quantitative Finance UWA stands at the intersection of mathematics, technology and finance at the University of Western Australia. Established in 2021, QFin UWA has quickly become a hub for students passionate about quantitative finance.

Our club was founded with three primary objectives:

• To demystify and introduce the field of quantitative finance to Western Australia.
• To provide an inclusive platform for students interested in mathematics, technology and finance to connect, share knowledge, and gain hands-on experience in algorithmic and statistical trading.
• To connect Western Australian students with opportunities in leading firms across the globe.

QFin UWA facilitates a range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the student experience and preparing students for internship and graduate roles at trading firms. We host numerous events and workshops in collaboration with our sponsors that offer practical insights and industry exposure.
